I will be taking on London to Brighton Cycle Ride on 15 September to raise vital funds for RCOG Centre for Women’s Global Health programmes.
I have been working to support Global Women's Health programmes and have seen first hand the effect that the money you give can have. Supporting healthcare providers to upskill in lifesaving skills like MVA, contraceptive counselling and cervical cancer.
Every day, according to the World Health Organization, approximately 830 women around the world die from preventable causes related to gynaecological issues, pregnancy and childbirth, with 98% of all of these deaths occurring in developing countries.
The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) are determined to change this. RCOG do this through driving up standards, with the highest quality training and education as well
as speaking out on key issues, pulling on compelling evidence and decades of experience to raise awareness and, where needed, challenge the status quo.
I am dusting off my bike (literally) and training really hard to support girls and women everywhere.
Please support me and RCOG. Any donation you can give makes sure that all women across the world can have the access to the healthcare they deserve.
